Seeker Start ("we", "our", or "the site") respects user privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This policy describes the types of information we collect, how it is used, and how it is managed.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information from LINE Authentication

Some content (such as gated articles) requires LINE authentication. During the LINE login flow, we receive the following information from LINE:

• LINE user ID
• Display name
• Profile picture URL

We do not collect email addresses or phone numbers.

1.2 Behavioral Logs

To improve our service and content quality, we collect the following user behavior data:

• URLs and titles of pages viewed
• Time spent on each page
• Time spent on each section (heading) of an article
• Scroll depth (how far you read on a page)
• Buttons and links clicked
• Referrer and UTM parameters
• Device type, browser, OS, language preference
• Visit timestamps

For LINE-authenticated users, behavioral logs are linked to the LINE user ID. For unauthenticated users, logs are linked to an anonymous ID stored in the browser (described below).

1.3 LINE Official Account Survey Responses

When you add our LINE official account as a friend, you may answer a survey (gender, age range, poker experience, monthly spending, etc.). The responses are synced to our site, linked to your LINE user ID, and used for content optimization and audience targeting.

1.4 Cookies

We use the following cookies:

• ss-anon-id: anonymous ID for unauthenticated users (lifetime: 1 year)
• ss-session: LINE authentication session (lifetime: 30 days)
• line-oauth-state, line-oauth-next: temporary LINE OAuth flow data
• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) analytics cookies
• Advertising cookies set by Google AdSense and other third-party ad vendors (see "4. Advertising" below)

2. Purposes of Use

• Providing and improving the service
• Improving content quality (analyzing which articles or sections cause drop-off)
• Understanding popular content by user segment
• Measuring marketing effectiveness
• Access control for gated articles
• Serving advertisements and measuring their performance

3. Third-Party Disclosure

We do not provide collected information to third parties, except as required by law.

However, anonymized statistical data is sent to Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC). For details, please see Google's Privacy Policy.

We never provide personally identifiable information — such as your name, address, email address, or phone number — to advertising vendors for ad serving purposes.

4. Advertising

This site uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites.
• As a result, you may see ads tailored to your interests.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of cookies from other third-party vendors at aboutads.info.

5. Data Retention

Behavioral logs are retained for 2 years in principle. Older data is anonymized and aggregated monthly.

6. Data Deletion Requests

If you wish to delete your data, please contact us via the contact form. Upon verifying your LINE user ID, we will delete all related data.

7. Security

Collected information is securely stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL). Row Level Security (RLS) restricts access to server-side only. Direct user access is technically prohibited.

8. Use by Minors

This site provides poker education content and is not intended for users under the age of 18. Guardians should supervise minors' use of this site.

9. Policy Changes

This policy may be updated as needed. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
